Component Reliability
O’Gara provides reliability by utilizing both internal and external component testing. These tests include ballistics testing of armoring materials and transparent armor (transparent armor replaces all OEM glass to defeat the specified threat level). Additional testing is performed on the vehicle brake and suspension systems.

Successful Vehicle Integration
A component performing well in a standalone test provides the minimum level of reliability. Your concern is how components will work when integrated in your vehicle. Integration includes both design and installation methods. For example, seams and joins must be as strong and well protected as the primary materials.

Meaningful proof of performance is evidenced by full vehicle tests. Commercial and military vehicles are tested and certified to your specified ballistic and explosive requirements. Our key staff has designed, built, and validated over 20 makes and models through full vehicle ballistic and blast testing. O’Gara knows how to provide complete coverage for any vehicle model.

Rather than simply shooting components or samples and then imply this proves occupants will be safe, O’Gara performs statistical evaluations and utilizes in-house environmental chambers.
